The Melbourne Cup, "The Race that Stops the Nation" is one of the biggest and most prestigious horse races in the world. For those who lose horse racing, Melbourne Cup is a day to watch your favourite horses run for the prize. But for the rest of Australians, Melbourne Cup Day is the perfect excuse to dress up in fancy attire and enjoy delicious food and beverages with great company.
Whether you are a racing enthusiast or just love a good meal with free flow drinks, AustCham Beijing will bring together all the excitement of Melbourne Cup to Beijing so you will not have to miss out on this exciting day.
'Fashion on the Fields' - As fashion is a major part of what makes Melbourne Cup unique and exciting, guests are not only encouraged to wear their best Spring Carnival attire but will also be able to enjoy a fashion show with some of Beijing's best designers. As an added bonus, we've prepared some prizes for the guests 'Dressed Best' in their race-day wear. Ladies time to get those florals out and gents, get out that tie you've always wanted to wear that has always been a little 'too much' for work. The after party will kick on at Centro Bar at the Kerry Hotel, so make sure you get your tickets now to ensure you don't miss out!
On the day, we will be giving out prizes for the following categories, so please put on your best outfit! We will have prizes for the following categories and more:

- Best Matching Couple
A range of fundraising activities will run during the afternoon, where the proceeds will be donated to United Foundation for China's Health (UFCH) who will use the funds raised to provide critical care for children in need. For those buying tickets through Roundabout, 20% of your ticket fee will go towards the support of this local charity, so get your tickets now! They raise funds for vulnerable people in our society, in the form of medical and educational aid.
